Think of a woman we’ll call Ada. She grew up in Enugu, gave her life to Christ at 19, and today she works as a nurse in Manchester. She is faithful in church, works long shifts and prays often. But three engagements have collapsed, her pay vanishes before month-end, and the dreams that started back home followed her across the ocean.
She has prayed against everything except the one thing nobody ever asked her about: the covenants she made with her body before she knew better, and the soul ties that were never broken.
Sex is a covenant act. Outside God’s covenant, it can tie a soul to people, habits and spirits it was never meant to be bound to. And it sends a bill: peace, money, focus, relationships and spiritual authority. A plane ticket does not cancel that bill.
